Is the Free edition really free forever?

Yes. Two backends, 100 concurrent connections, full feature set — no time limit, no credit card. We want you to validate value before any commercial conversation.

What counts as a 'backend'?

A named data source: one Salesforce org, one SAP instance, one Postgres database, one Snowflake account. The Free edition supports two; Commercial removes the cap.

Does upgrading require migrating or re-training the ontology?

No. thinking sense Free and Commercial ship the same binary and the same ontology format. The license key unlocks capabilities — there's no migration, no data export, no re-discovery.

What does 'early access pricing' mean?

We're working with our first 8–10 commercial customers and locking in favorable terms for teams that commit early. Pricing scales with cluster size and backend count; reach out and we'll build a proposal in one conversation.

Can I run this in a VPC or air-gapped environment?

Yes. thinking sense is fully self-hosted — no data leaves your perimeter in either edition. Commercial adds formal VPC deployment support and an SLA.
